Shot blasting
Abrasive blasting prepares the metal surface ahead of coating or further agreed production stages. Depending on the condition of the part, treatment can remove rust, mill scale and loose existing coatings. Preparation for subsequent welding can be discussed against the customer’s requirements; welding itself is not an ABCMET service. The method and required finish are agreed after reviewing the component.
